Acceptance
By using Assimilation Chess you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use online play, accounts, ranked queues, or other network features.
Accounts And Eligibility
Local games do not require an account. Online profiles may be guest or authenticated profiles. Ranked matchmaking requires an authenticated account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
Fair Play
Do not cheat, automate play against other players, exploit bugs, tamper with clients, submit invalid moves, abuse disconnect or draw systems, impersonate others, harass players, or manipulate ratings. The server is authoritative for online move validation, match state, clocks, and result finalization.
Ratings And Bots
Casual and ranked Elo are separate. Bot games do not affect player Elo. Ranked results are finalized by the backend and may be corrected if a bug, outage, exploit, or duplicate finalization is detected.
Monetization
Assimilation Chess is free to play in this release. Mobile builds may show Google AdMob banner ads. There are no in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, loot boxes, wagers, or paid competitive advantages in version 1.0.0.
Service Availability
Local play may work offline, but profiles, online games, ranked queues, leaderboards, and history require backend services. Online features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, abuse investigation, store review, or platform provider interruptions.
Content And Conduct
Display names and support messages must be lawful and respectful. We may remove offensive names, restrict accounts, reset corrupted state, or block access when needed to protect players or the service.
Disclaimers
Assimilation Chess is provided as-is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app legal screen and store privacy materials before release where required.
